Service Administrator

The Role:
Prairie Mobile Communications is looking for a Service Coordinator at our location in Edmonton, AB. This is a full-time, permanent role. Service Coordinator is the first contact for our walk-in and over-the-phone customers. Duties and responsibilities will include answering questions on our wide range of products and services, booking service and installation appointments, providing day-to-day support to office operations, calling customers to follow up on the service they received or their purchase, inventory counts, and other administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service/office admin
- Experience in the technical service industry is an asset
- Able to write up service orders.
- Perform first-level review of work orders to ensure all information is filled out correctly
- Scheduling service work and dispatch
- Coordinate rentals, track and process work orders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and customers
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Is a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
- Computer skills: Email, Internet and customer relationship management(CRM) software is an asset.
- A valid driver’s license is required with access to reliable transportation
- Willingness to continuously learn and a positive can-do attitude
Working Conditions:
- Office-based, Monday to Friday, 8.00 am -5:00 pm, with 1 hour lunch break
- Business Casual dress
- Must have the ability to sit for prolonged periods
- Manual dexterity required to use a desktop computer, desk phone
- Must have the ability to sit for prolonged periods
- In-person, phone, and video interactions with employees, customers, and general public
- Must be in good physical condition, able to stand, lift (up to 25lbs), bend, and crouch as needed
- Occasional driving required in and around the area for mail pick up/drop off, bank deposit, and courier drop-offs
