We are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator who will be part of our Finance team at our home office in Winnipeg, MB. Reporting to our Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, this team member works in-office, and will interact with all levels of staff, customers and service providers.

Key Duties:

  • Process, match, code and post AP vendor invoices
  • Process staff expense claims including credit cards, petty cash and travel expenses
  • Track and update various AP expenses and internal budget spreadsheets
  • Process PST self-assessment claims and reconciliation
  • Prepare weeky and monthly EFT, USD ACH and cheque run reports for approval; disburse payements and issue EFT and cheques to vendors
  • Prepare credit applications for/and set up new vendors, business applications; utilities applications, and process cancellations as needed
  • Investigate and update existing vendors credit terms, limits and other related info
  • Respond to internal staff and vendor credit inquiries
  • Maintain AP filing system and update AP procedures as necessary
  • Provide backup supoort to corporate finance administrative staff and sales
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Formal post-secondary education and/or training in Business Administration, Accounting or related field is preferred
  • 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience required; supporting multi-province locations is an asset
  • Strong computer skills, proficient with MS O365 applications (Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a paperless environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; with the ability to work under pressure with a high volume of transactions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; with the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Ability to deal with any conflict that may arise in a mature and professional manner; fostering positive working relationships with all levels of staff, customers and external contacts
